On my last post regarding the Sentosa trip, it was my 1st day using this Olay Total Effects cream I bought from Impres at Eunos MRT. I have been using it for years ever since the product was launched and it costs $25. Ya it was a pinch, I know. B ever called me "high-maintainence" juz coz I use a $25 cream for my face per mth. Anyway I was overjoyed wen I saw the same Olay cream for $16.50 and I'm very sure its not a "ciplak" version. But semejak dua hari lepas, the skin on my face was reli peeling. Looking somewhat like scales.. B noticed it and tried to rub it off on my cheek tapi makin banyak kluar. It was reli lotsa flakes!




I dun thk my camera can capture the tiny flakes. But it is making my skin dry & flaky and red spots will appear if it gets too dry..


It can either be a) the cream coz on the 1st day I used it(at Sentosa) the smell and consistency was different. I tot it was due to my face exposed to the sea water which might've changed its pH or sumthing. Or b) I have been drinking less water. Or no water at all, especially after eat lunch at Staff Canteen. Lupa or malas nak minum coz takot boncet. But anyway, I reli feel tat its coz of the cream. Bohoo :(

I called the company Procter & Gamble and from the voice of the operator its most likely I have called Philippines..or Thailand.. Use phone keje lagi. But if anything I oay jelah coz I oso duno, memandangkan the number was placed rite below the Singapore address. The lady explained tat Total Effects + cream has three different types: the normal one, Fragrance-Free and UV Protection. I swear, I ever used all 3(coz tak tau pon ada difference, main pakai grab je) and had no probs. Bau pon sama. But onli tis particular batch the smell was totally different. The lady said it might have been allergic to my skin. And guess what, after the phone conversation, the company agreed to refund my $16.50! Woohoo! Now i must look for better brands...Biotherm? Origins? SK-II? Tho SK-II is actually under Procter & Gamble.. Errrk.






No sign of ciplak-ism here rite.

PS: Its not like I want to burukkan nama kedai kat Eunos tu; I like the shop coz they sell discounted toiletries. But I think I must look for a better cream, thats all.






Last Saturday was Social Dance Nite for members. I had to do their poster, and had to come for the event. My hair looked crappy coz of my now-beserk Influence straightening irons. Thand God dear baby bought me a new set of same brand but model Salon Pro XL on Sunday night. It does straighten like a pro. I like!



The event is just dancing for member of age 30+ and above. Maximum age is limitless lah, coz there' even one member who attended with his four-point tongkat! He didn't dance lah obviously. But with the music flowing non-stop, it gave everyone the vibes and soon we, the staff outside, were moving to the beat while still working..hahaaa. Soon we got bored too..


So when we got bored, we....

..played bingo.....(caught in the act by General Manager some more..but luckily he was ok and said, "Hey, as long as you guys have fun!"(in a matsalleh US accent)

.. and ate. And coz most, or should I say ALL of the food is non-halal, i took the desserts instead. Ni aku paling suka, bread pudding with vanilla sauce. Adilo is sposed t eat tis wif me on our choccie date, where is she huhhh???
