So how was my "Turn 25" Celebration? Great.
First it was celebrated by Marcom Social Dept in my office. Terharuuuu banget. I never had colleagues celebrating my bday wif cake in the office before. So you can imagine lah how touched and paisey I was. Could feel my face burning. Uwwwahh! Malu! Malu!
Nazri tried to stall me kat depan pintu..apa merepek punye event lah yg dia bebual, ada ke patot event yg dah cancel pon dia nak tanya poster dah buat ke blom..Mestilah wen pikir balik aku dah suspect something fishy..memang betol pon. Ahaks! Tengok tu, bos kasi bunga krismas lagi...padahal nampak sangat leftover from deco Christmas Light-Up Party. Sengkek...ler mengomplain plak!
No I didn't make a wish before blowing the candle.. Macam tak rasa keIslaman plak kalau buat wish..
My Cake. Wal didn't get what they meant; he tot mcm kena 'bahasa' je. I guess its their way of personalising each of us and I guess I'm the one among the roses who shop til I drop..heh.
After work, Wal fetched me from work. Masa tu tangan full dengan barang; camera bag, box of cake and my handbag. Anyways I specially requested we go Fig & Olive for my bdae dindin. Yay!
My "Corny Macam Corned Beef" Sandwich.. Roti sandwich dia ada olive pieces. Unique. rasa masin-masin.

Updates(now wif photos)
Makan Kebabom kat Simpang last two weeks wif my B, Chai & Adilo. And coz I was sickly, dapat telan half aje of this ginormous kebab. Letak extra cheese lagi. I think it was our 2nd time double-dating. Our first was my 1st time meeting Adilo, whom Chai had brought masa kita dua nak gi makan kat Century. Urgh teringat aku that "143" term..buekssss...
Sesi aniaya budak: Atin keje kat Long John
Sesi aniaya budak: Budak meneran biyak dgn sungguh-sungguh. Tengok sampai berair mata dia hehehehehe
Masa Atin demam..I guess he was cold sampaikan his Mama kena pakaikan dia kasut to keep his fat feet warm.(Til date, he is still sickly with fever)

Elhan Syaqeel..Cute lah ni budak, suka rambut dia. I caught him smile before this pic was taken, wah masa tu in my mind was like "Ni budak dah besar mesti hensemberg nih..". Jangan marah ye, mak budak :)

My Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream kat Ben & Jerry's. Masa tu craving ya amat for Ben & Jerry's padahal tgh demam. Went to 7-11 kat Bedok Reservoir and saw Pistachio Pistachio but decided against buying coz I needed the cash. (Satu tub $13.90!) So the next day kena keje, so lunchtime je pegi Vivo to get my small cup of B & J. Yum yum yum.

Been missing not coz no news; sememangnya ada news but so difficult coz i have so many pics all from different cameras to load to photobucket 1st before loading it here. Leceh and plus nowadays asik beezee macam si lebah. Heheh! So aku malas; forgive me. Let me ramble here before going back to being rajin next time yea :)
Currently what's in my mind now is THE planning for THE wedding. Yes yes, NOW must get my hands dirty and get involved in the planning, calling for appointments, surveying for furniture & for his gifts. On the side, must also save up lah. Roughly, for hunnymooney I already have a rough idea where to go(credits to Chicsee). Tempatnya indah(chewaaah) and you can say me & WalMart(jahat la kau, Loli..haha) are both excited when we decided upon this decision. But of courselah mesti dahulukan benda lain yg lebih penting.
Yesterday dah discuss wif my mum regarding the wedding date decided by both me & Wal. My side okay so I kenalah wait for his side's approval. We decided on Muharram tahun depan. Mum said I should concentrate on these 3 things first - Bridal House(Mak Andam), Hantaran Gifts and Furniture set. For Bridal House, masih dalam kaedah memantau..surveying the prices, baju and particularly makeup. I'm very particular about makeup! I found this famous high-end bridal house's makeup ugly coz berbelak. Mungkin lawa in studio lighting tapi pada aku burok! Have seen the works of their makeup artists in some multiplies & fotopages and it just confirms how I feel. For Hantaran Gifts, we decided among us to have 7 trays of gifts. Coz wana coincide the same digit as the hantaran money :) So basically I do have the ideas on what to give him, but I will save the money first coz(mengikut si ajaran Loli pulak), I should wait til GSS to get good buys. So I'm okay wif that. Weehoo! Next, Furniture Set. Aiyah, ni part yang payah. Lagi kena bawak elder relatives yg berpengalaman. For me, I will bring my Aunt Jeejia (cute eh nickname kita kasi dia) coz selain being experienced, she can tell kalau the salesperson nak "goreng" kita ke or sesuatu benda tu murah or mahal. Same goes for Bridal Andaman, I will be bringin her along. She can get along with Wal. (Personally I do know Wal appreciates her for doing what she does for all of us..) Sedangkan cincin kawin pon dia temankan aku beli, ini apa lagi rite..Teringat aku, masa beli cincin, it was on my bday last year. Sweet! Anyway back to Furniture. I was told by Mummy that the whole set would cost at least 3K. Aku boleh pengsannn. So far I have only checked out Ikea yg mahal and Harvey Norman Millenia. But I think the furniture will only be bought by me during one to two months before akad nikah coz 1)bilik aku harus direnovate dulu to get rid of the partition deco and 2) kalau beli siang2 ada nanti pengantin blom sempat baring, dah roboh dulu...Choi!!!! *Wal lak cerewet, nak mattress King Koil..Kopak jugak aku. That particular brand of tilam's standard price is 1Kplus okeh! And itu baru je tilam. I told my mum and she actually supports him(!) saying must buy pocketed spring mattress sebab tahan lama.. Cheh!!!
Selain ni semua, I have to go thru the wedding prep couse, barulah ke ROMM.. The one yg kena bawak bakal pengantin and Wali.. Semalam and tadi I had the marriage jitters masa surfing these marriage sites..I told Kajal, coz aku rasa macam tak percaya I am getting married..to him...WOW!

Diwali went on smoothly on the 7th even tho masih ada gak orang tak tau malu kat keje..Sigh. But lucky for my buddy, her name was credited onstage during the adhoc chairman's speech. Well done, babe!
I didnt take any photos of Diwali performances except for a vid of the Bhangra Dance. Oooh I enjoyed watching that one. Before the dance floor closes, we celebrated nazri's bday which falls on the 8th. Cheh, baru aku dapat tau tadi that he actually knew we were gona celebrate his bday on that day. Orang dept lain lah yg spoil nih! Chets!!
Dah 30 tahun pakcik oii..gi carik jodoh sana gi..banyaaaak achi India mari lu boley tackle, deyyy...
After cutting cake kita ikut si pakcik ni to the dance floor.. Pengsannnn..dengan kain sari pon bole joget disco..then again dalam wayang Hindustan dorang semua memang joget pakai sari per..hmmmmm....
After the party ended..Mak Buyung pemalas tu missing sebab siang2 dah balik. Chit porrah!

We went to Ajah house coz mum's not cooking. Nenek masak mee rebus. Ajah pelawa Wal to makan as well tapi beliau "malu-malu kucing busuk".

After umah Ajah, B fetched me and off we go to Istanbul for his dinner. I minom bandung je coz masih senak lepas makan mee rebus. After that..heheh..me gatal nak gi Mphosis beli slipper. I need lady slippers so that I won't look so sloppy.. So off we go to Parkway, the most convenient Mphosis. Beli slipper and a miniskirt. Yeah yeah. Harga pon not bad. Then we went next door to Topman to find his jeans but this season's designs dia tak berkenan. We found ourselves in the midst of Levi's sale, and he found what he wanted. After discount, his jeans costs $105. Not bad... Usual harga was $150..
Our purchases - His Levi's, my Cosmo mag and Mphosis lady things. I bought the Cosmo at 7-11 on impulse coz Mel C was on the cover and I wanted to update myself with the recent Spice Girls reunion. Hey, I'm still quite a fan you know! (Reminds me of what Rosilah told me 2 weeks ago - me, Noy, Rosilah, Aidah and Azizah were "supposedly" the next Spice Girls!! Hahahaa..kental kan zaman skolah but it definitely was alot of fun!)

Been awhile..and thruout my demise asik menyekik makan sedap aje. Bet B must be jealous, ngehehe. Am sooo dreading tomorrow coz its our Diwali Ball here..paham2 ajelah. Bukan racist tapi dah terlalu banyak benda leceh yg menyusahkan semua orang, including my colleague yg sendiri sebangsa dengan dorang. Skarang ni je aku tengah printing last minute stuff. Kuat perintah siol. Skali aku smack karanggg.
Klah2 now let's talk about happy things! Heheh. (Pasal besok, besok aku boleh worry.)
Daddy's new ride! Finally came on the 27th. "Lima tahun baru dapat beli ni kreta..." said Daddy to us. Ahh yes I remember that fateful day. My parents, me and my elder sis went to the Toyota car dealer coz we wanted to scrap our old Ipsum and upgrade to buying the fresh-from-the-market Picnic Deluxe. Papers were signed and all but unfortunately we were hit with something I can't say here...It eventually led Daddy to sell off the car. Yes our family were hit with troubled times but alhamdulillah five years on, we managed to stabilise ourselves.. alhamdulillah..
On Tuesday, me & Kajal went to Little India. She ajak me coz I was interested in buying the Diwali envelopes at Jothi store, other than looking aorund and seeping in the sights and sounds(but not smells eh, please).
After looking around and memborong near to $20 worth Diwali money envelopes & scrolls(B, please don't marah me..), we went for dinner at Komalas. Packed siol. We sat at a four-seater table and as we were eating, 2 ladies came up to us and asked if they could share our seat. We were okay with it. But the next thing I knew, these two ladies were really bitching about their office, who's going out with who, and they were practically controlling the table man.. Voices so loud, aku nak bebual dgn Kajal pon tak dengar. Siot betol. After our dinner, I teman her go eyebrow threading. Aku tengok mcm menyeksakan gitu.. I'd stick to plucking. Not that I do pluck my eyebrows. Dah nak 2 tahun aku tak sentuh kening - sebab dah takde lagi yg patot dicabut. Bulu kening aku mogok takmo tumbuh lagi..
Wednesday lak, meet Makcik Dilot for lunch. Coz wana pass her the CD full of our piccies taken last Sunday at umah Sab. We had lunch at Fig & Olive. This bistro seems to be my hot fave at the moment - I enjoy having dinner here wif sis Naynay. I love their Morrocan Chicken Drumlets!!

Thursday lak, lunch dengan my colleagues kat Swensens lak to suit the taste of a vegan and two muslims(cina tu takyah kira, huahaha). The service was freaking slow. Kita sampai sana 1plus, our food only came to us at about 2pm. Tak ke macam sial. 2pm kan the end of our lunch time. Urrrgh!

Maybe because it was a new branch..

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler tu I bought on Thursday masa tengah mindless shopping. But its only $24 and the best curler tested by Cleo Magazine. I like!
Ni pulak MAC Loose powder I bought masa I went out wif Dilot, pastu the next day beli lagi sebab salah shade. Nak dikatan the present one I'm using ni pon gelap tapi dah pokai nak beli baru. Ooops did I say the word "pokai"? Haha.
Atin dah pandai makan. But must put on his bib. Bersepah semua.

Atin now dah ada katil baru, macam kena jail hehehe. Tapi he prefers tis bed coz dia taklah mengamuk2 bila dia nak duduk. His previous bed was wobbly; dia duduk je nanti he got the tendency to fall back.

Masa tu nak dress Atin coz my Dad was going to fetch my sis, so my mum pon bawaklah Atin skali. She told me to dress Atin but aku mintak kasut and topi, my mum gave me one hat & 4 pairs shoes. Last2 kita pakaikan the brown Pooh shoes which was kinda tight for the boy's fat ankles..
Masa tu my mum masak Black Pepper Prawns..sedap you, lagi pakai black pepper yang freshly ground. Sayang skali, B tak dapat rasa. Next time yer awak.

Gi makan dulu coz very lapar so I suggested makan at Ramen Ten again, this time to eat the Chicken Katsu Don. Ada telor ceplok, best :)

After our late lunch, we watched Muay Thai Chaiya at Cineleisure. Nothing else t watch coz Game Plan is too Disney..get what I mean. Macam tak worth it gitu watch kiddie movie, weekend priced tickets some more..errrk. I thought Muay Thai Chaiya was about winning a big competition but I was wrong. terselit jugak pasal undeground fighting, thugs, killing.. Banyak lagi lah. Very emtional part when Piak was shot by cops. Memang patot dia mati pon but sedih tengok soon-to-be exwife and kawan rapat dia kerumun dia before his last breath.
Wen B set me home, my parents were on their way out. Rupanya nak gi visit Atin's paternal grandparents. Masa balik time, it was raining so my sis pakaikan Atin "tudung" to protect him from the rain.

Bought Fried Mars bars kat Citilink - by the 3rd nugget it was sickeningly sweet. Should have opted for Vanilla Ice Cream...
Malam pulak, my family(minus my bro who's at camp), along with Cousin Paom and two other Daddy's students went out for supper kat Raimah. I had chicken cutlet and well..tak macam dulu punya lah. I guess dah tukar vendor. If last time, its chicken cutlet along with baked beans, fries and one telor ceplok. And it was only $4.50! Murah, murah, everybody, murah.
