Birthday Surprises this year, totally overwhelming. I received many many birthday wishes; I guess they knew coz of FB? Hehee. Thank you many2, first to Sonia(she purposely hugged me the day before coz she wants to be the first person...how sweet) and to my colleagues of Marcom Social.

By midnite, little mummy Sab msged me saying she wanted to be one who wishes me rite on the dot of midnite tapi takot tertido..like, how sweet? Siap kat luv ya..Thanks gal...you're so sweet! Following suit is Rosilah, SC, Sonia(again, tis time thru sms..hehee),NTUC Income(siap kasi online voucher to print..$1 off movie ticket), Ianz, Fadilot, Noyee(siap "nyanyi" lagi via sms), my other adik Fadilah plus alot more wishes that I received from Forum, FB and Multiply. Thank you, everyone..Sayang you all..
I took leave on my bday so that I can rest before having bday dinner with B. We went Hyatt again, coz he's hooked on the Crabs with Sweet & Sour Sauce. I'm happily setteld with my satay & tandoori chix :P

I kidnapped one piece of prata from the dinner table - dunno who bought it coz parents were sleeping. So when I'm in the office savouring the prata I received wonderful news. Dils has given birth! Congrats gal on the the birth of your baby boy on 20th Nov. His weight at birth at 3kg(slightly lighter than Sab's gumbi-gumbi Humairah), and I believe from reading Sab's blog, mini Juju's name is Mirza. Wahhh! Congrats again gal :)
Am planning to visit Sab on the 6th or 7th but on the 8th Hari Raya Haji kan. Aiyah.. Tapi Sab okay je aku tengok. But I will be visiting her with the little gumbi-gumbi. In fact, I have planned a photoshoot for her. Complimentary images CD for her to keep :) Awww what a sweet friend I am. "Hop into the basket, carry the basket myself." *grins*
Last friday, I tagged along Sonia & Kajallie when they went to buy tankinis for our beach glam party. We all are so excited; can't wait for 29th November! Woohooo!
Well, it won't look so fun like this one as it's an all-five girl gang Hen Party (for me! sweet rite they all!!). And all of us will be soaking in the beach atmosphere & sipping our drinks as the sun sets..Aaaaaaahhhhh...
2 nites back, I was lying beside Gumby. And terus tertido. Den Naynay woke me up, and passed me this Chrismas brochure. I mumbled(half asleep), "Dowan..not interested.." Then she said "It's a voucher lah." Fine. Ngantok2 pon nak kejutkan orang. I open the card(the sticker was already opened by dunno who), and in it is this :
I received a $100 voucher from Starhub! Mata terus celik and I couldn't sleep. HAHA! Blessing in disguise as I was gonna buy my "idaman kalbu" hp in a few weeks anyway. Was just about to complain to them coz for 8 f**king years never did I receive any token of appreciation from them. Now that my plan is finishing, they 'pasang' good strategy to make me stay put as their customer. Cilaka btol. BUT, as a customer, kalau orang dah bagi tu amik jelah. Hence, the smile :
Megawatt which means "Yayyyy dah nak dapat phone baru!!"
I plan to buy two phones though. One for me and one for him to put on the tray. Which also means I can only use the phone in two months, along with the VS set, the Davidoff perfume, the Guess wallet, Coach Large Hobo..etc etc..
Qawiy loooves to smile nowadays. Plus he loves to talk too, especially to no one in particular. He is so so cute and so so sweet....despite his botak tengah, that is. Mum & Naynay plan to shave his head coz his botak tengah part of the head is s-l-o-w-l-y growing (tho can see a patch) whereas the rest of the head has long hair.. Too unbalanced, rite. So it will be time for Qawiy's first haircut soon. Stay tuned!
Atin nowadays talks to his brother, who always likes to talk. Apart from bullying like pulling Qawiy's legs in his buai or pushing Qawiy in another direction while Qawiy in his buai. Notti but sometimes it just looks sooooo cute. Argh. My house is flooding with tonnes of cuteness. Reason why I find these two nephews of mine the first thing I get home. Hehehee.

Saturday's togather-gather was a success! Even tho Kak SC asked us why we went home too early. Early kau cakap, makcik? It was near maghrib oredi lah dey. Plus kita2 ni tinggal east side oii..makan satu jam just for the journey in the train home.
The mamams(not all are in the pic) - potluck by everyone. My fave were Kak Sut's fruit tarts, especially the strawberry ones! Yum yum. And of course the fried chicken for the nasi lemak cooked by SC's MIL. Even the twins said "ayam dia sedap".
Part of Kak SC's pink rock room. Yes SC it really is pink! I've seen a fren of mine, Huda, where she painted her room red. It sorta resembled the temple kinda red. Which was why I insisted SC's room was pink, not red. Or to make her happier, its salmon-coloured...happy? :P
Me with the twins. I went with them, since Yahm finished school quite late on that day. SC tot I'm bringing Atins too, but I can't handle him alone. Especially at this stage where he's getting notti!! Tak pasal2 he buat hal dalam train or bus, aku jugak yang susah.
Sunday was our budget day. Should have gone to JB eh! It didn't strike our minds then. But nvm, coz what we did was to go to PP Money Changer so as he change the currency. Need to pay Ah Hua for the bucuk EG the next day.
And also mamam at KFC.Cian dia belom eat his dinner.
We went ECP for a stroll....and we bought ol skool ice creamies. He pantang see apek ice cream. Or nyonya, for this case. Nice cool dessert eaten at the beach with cool breeze sweeping our faces. It was a walk down memory lane as well as we used to come here often during our courtship days...the period where we met each other again. Sweet memories that immediately puts a smile on my face when I think about it. Hee. And four years on, here we are getting married. I couldn't be any happier :):):)

Yesterday, finally. Our wedding outfits have been chosen! Ngehehe. We had an appointment with our bridal house Chinta to choose our outfits. So it's settled. Cream for nikah(with so many many sequins..gasaklah), pink for sanding and an evening gown/tuxedo suit for bertandang. Funnily enough, when we were browsing for outfits, it was him who did the choosing. Baju lace lawa-lawa(!!!) semua he reject, saying "Macam baju raya je..." It certainly made my eyes open wide - dia tukang choosekan baju aku. Wahhh!!! So in the end, french lace for nikah and songket for bersanding. Now it's time to lose five kilos! Before paying some deposit and going for the last fitting one week before the wedding date, that is. Bahhhh.
After that, it's off to JB. It's our "opening ceremony" as it's my first going with him! We went to visit our EG at Ah Hua's workshop after the little mishap on sunday. Cian kreta, depan workshop sorang-sorang. After the short visit, we went for mamam at Marrybrown. It's been 4 years since I ate this - which was at Genting Theme Park. Sejuk giler on top of the mountain, makan the nasi Marrybrown memang sedap! Heheh. I had the lucky plate yesterday with a side of prawn fingers. Yes I know, I'm allergic to little things called PRAWNS so I'm taking one big risk here... :P My boy should know what to do in case I get allergy attacks again.

After eating, we went to My Store to buy my "groceries". All these cost me RM12 aje! Friggin cheap! Plus, where else in Singapore can you get small jar of Ovaltine? At $1.60??
When drivin around JB, we talked about how our possibilities to travel are endless once we're married. If you must know, until I'm married, I am confined in Singapore with a curfew. Why? Because my daddy is still responsible for me. I don't blame him coz I know it is his responsibility to have great care over a daughter. Or should I say, his three daughters. One daughter is already married with two little boys, and I'm the up-and-coming daughter to be leaving the nest. So once we're married, the possibilities of having vacations are endless. We have already planned to drive up to KL in our EG(hopefully no sangkaks, insyallah). We can just laze around til its time to leave for the hectic Singapore again. Plus, I can shop & shop! Coz honestly, I can't wait to go to KL's LV after seeing this little something that my aunt bought from there(which is not available in Sg) - which would look good in the car! Well, provided it's me who's driving that is. Hah.
Friday was ex-boss Christine's last day. Frankly, as much as pilih bulu sometimes, she's the nicest boss that I've had. Well, I had only 3 bosses in my entire working life. (I'm not including Mastereign as there wasn't any boss, cuma tu pompan Mereng yg kuat perintah..Rite, Mira?) We had a farewell inter-dept lunch at Fig & Olive Vivo(guess who suggested the place...hee). And boy was I glad everyone enjoyed their lunch. After a photo-op, we went back to SSC (booo). At nite, we had inter-dept clubbing sesh at St. James, tho there were some people who bawak call girls to join us (they were from other depts). I was soooo shocked to know the truth, and it especially made my hair stand that these guys have wives! Gosh, kalau muka lawa takpe. Nonetheless, extra "girls" or not, we had fun. I was the only sober one(duh!) and I got home on time. Woohooo! To Chris, I wish the best for your future endeavours. Good luck! :)

On Saturday, I went home with Sonia & Snowy. We had definitely ALOT of things to talk about. Obviously, with the hoo-ha around. We went to Cafe Cartel where I had their Ice Cream Waffle.

I shall type in malay in case any kepo people would read and make situations even worse…. Bleurrrgh. Fcuk off.
Aku tak faham sesetengah orang-orang ni.
Senang betul dia peralatkan pekerja. Kalau perlukan, bukan main baik minta tolong tapi bila dah tak nak, dengan senang dia suruh blah. What is this? Belom lagi si raja dengan segala hulubalang dia. Nak dikatakan, segala kekecohan ni semua bermula semenjak si raja ni dapat takhta bulan Mei lepas. Habis kuncu-kuncu dia perselerakkan segala etika dan cara kerja, baik untuk pekerja mahupun ahli jawatankuasa. Pekerja makin sesak sebab dah tak ada pihak yang boleh bela nasib mereka. Jadi, apakah penyesalannya? Pekerja terpaksa tinggalkan tempat ni walaupun dengan berat hati. Contohnya taukeh department aku. Hari ni hari terakhir dia. Bukan dia diberhentikan oleh HR, tapi kerana tak tahan karenah si raja dan kuncu-kuncunya yang kuat perintah. Perintah pandai tapi tak pakai otak! Nilah dia manusia, kalau dia dah ada duit manalah nak fikir hati budi. Yang tahu, dengan duit senanglah dia nak buat sesuka hati. Sama juga dengan hal lagi dua teman sepejabat yg rapat dengan aku. Lagi teruk nasib dorang; alih-alih hari ni, takde angin takde ribut, disuruh pilih untuk keluar dari department atau cari keje lain. Senang betul! Padahal sebelom ni, pekerja-pekerja yang terang lagi bersuluh tak buat kerja, curi tulang tapi boleh naik pangkat! Bertahun-tahun duduk sini dapat gaji senang-lenang. Dunia, dunia. Sekarang ni aku cuma takot tentang satu perkara. Bila taukeh department aku dah takde, sape nak bela kami semua? Aku masih rasa “baru” walaupon dah nak masuk dua tahun bekerja sini. Dan dengan cara kuncu-kuncu raja tu seakan nak anianya department aku, aku sangat takut akan keadaan aku. Untuk hilang pekerjaan sekarang, it’s something I cannot afford!
Memang betul lah kata Mantera Beradu, “Muka sama hijau, hati siapa tahu”.

Padahal sebelom ni, pekerja-pekerja yang terang lagi bersuluh tak buat kerja, curi tulang tapi boleh naik pangkat! Bertahun-tahun duduk sini dapat gaji senang-lenang. Dunia, dunia. Sekarang ni aku cuma takot tentang satu perkara. Bila taukeh department aku dah takde, sape nak bela kami semua? Aku masih rasa “baru” walaupon dah nak masuk dua tahun bekerja sini. Dan dengan cara kuncu-kuncu raja tu seakan nak anianya department aku, aku sangat takut akan keadaan aku. Untuk hilang pekerjaan sekarang, it’s something I cannot afford!
Memang betul lah kata Mantera Beradu, “Muka sama hijau, hati siapa tahu”.

First and foremost, wooohoo!! Congrats to Mr. Obama for winning the elections and thus, being the first black prez. I'm suprised upon knowing (from TODAY Paper, 4th Nov) he was schooled in Indonesia for 2yrs - where everyone then called him Barry. And he was the only kid in class who told the teacher that his ambition "is to be a president". And my, has he reached his goal. Congrats, Mr Obama. Now, one more time... " B to the A to the R A C K O B A M A..."
Another piece of congrats goes to SAB!! My cute sweetie buddy has given birth to her baby girl - FINALLY!! So my prediction is 5 days too early..wooops! Her baby is heavy too - at 3.3 kilos. And I doubt this is gonna be her last as her hb(as she said) had bought her a Coach baggie & wristlet with a catch - he wants number four. Well girl, if you can go for it and is still young, why not rite? You go, girl!
What else...? Yah..same old, same old. Messed up with the wedding prep again. At least now the date is settled and confirmed so I can finally tell my colleagues where & when so as to prepare them - well, who wouldn't want a free "nasi minyak" lunch, rite?? I was asked by my boss what my plans were after marriage. Coz she said "everyone is asking". I replied, "Work wise isit? Err..of course I will still be working lah..". Which she nodded and walked away. First, who is the "everyone" that she's referring to? Second...what has it got to do with..anything?? Not that she is staying anyway as her last day is 2 days from now...
Appointment for costume fittings will be on the coming tuesday *shudder* and our studio wedding photoshoot is scheduled on the end of this month. Suddenly I feel its too soon. Which is the irony coz months back, I was so impatient for this day to come. Sigh. Must block those thoughts outta my head....must relax and enjoy this bday pressie from Wal(the photoshoot). Can't wait! :P
Mmmm..hadn't been going out much..us little lovebirds keep missing each other like mad..must be the "Dol nak kawin" blues... Yeech! As days go on, I have to mentally prepare myself that for two days, I'm going to :
1) be the centre of attention
2) be a wife....duh!
3) have a roomate
4) be prepared to get preggy (hey, accidents happen , you know. *wink*)
5) have an extended family
and of course, I can't wait after the WHOLE WEDDING CEREMONY TO END....so I can relax by the quay and enjoy my choccie buffet. A treat for me & baby, for "working" so hard. Muacks!
