Finally. After 11 years. Wal & Mia are now husband and wife.
Weird. Our journey has been long and wasn't a smooth-sailing journey. Being emotional, I thought I would cry the moment Wal does the ijabkabul. Funny thing, I remained calm - throught othe whole the event. (Even Papa got tearful during the lafaz when he took the role as my Wali). The only moment I got tearful was............. :) Let's just say he surprised me by playing "our song" the moment we sat on the dais at his place. Maybe coz it was a surprise. Apa pon, thanks sweetheart...
The girlfriends/makciks/kecoh gang came to visit!

Words cannot describe how much your presence mean to me. Thank you Ellyanie & Sharul (for stayin with me thruout the whole 2 day event..thank you so much), Shahidot, Rosilot, Fadilot & Sab.. True to what Shahidot said, "What are frens for?" :)))
At the end of the day - us in our tux-and-gown costume. Sempat aku feeling2 bride omputeh hehehehe.
Thanks also to Nina - a fren from EPS tat I made when I was 8! She was one frenly girl wen I joined EPS in 1990. Which was a blessing coz her mum is my mum's close fren so maybe they thought it'd be cute if their daughters are close frens too hehehe. But Nina darling, I appreciate your presence. Thanks darl, for attending my nikah. Hope to see you again ya!!!!
I would like to thank all guests who came to celebrate the joyous occasion of my wedding. Frankly speaking, Papa had invited MORE than 2000 guests - which explains why 500 cards are all used up, almost 300 photocopied cards were printed and those without cards were invited either by Facebook or telephone. I'd like to express my greatest gratitude - thank you so much for coming :)

I duno why but I suddenly have a red inflammation/breakout. And its bloody itchy!! Dunolah kenapa so I'm reeeeli jaga-ing my skin. I know its all polka-dotty rite now but I'm doing the best that I can. After sunday there won't be any more stress so my skin should start calming down by then... Wow I can't believe I'm gonnabe a wife this saturday and going off for our hols next week! WOOHOOHOOO!!!

First and foremost, I am now partnerless coz Soniaji has flown to Yindia Deyy.. And I will only see her a month later wen I'm finally over from my marriage leave + honeymoon! Not only that but it's Kajallie's last day on my 1st day to return work too....am so sad. The best part? Only Kajallie can make it to my big day coz Sonia's still in Yindia Deyy & Mummy Evey in Macau wif her hubby & kiddies!

I spent a bomb looking good.
I did a perm on my hair on 3rd Jan (Saturday). And rebonded my fringe. Well I thought it should be safe since I'm doing all this 3 weeks before THE big day. The chat I had with Ayu yesterday kinda stirred me abit though. Coz she said a fren of hers did a perm and apparently it made the mak andam have difficulties in doing certain styles. But for me.....3 weeks okay kan? Its soft enough at this point of time....no more maggi.
Fresh from Jeric Salon! I did air wave perm where they used tis fishy smell chemical and used really hot(steamed) cushiony rollers. I was really sleepy and tersenguk-senguk the WHOLE time! Empat jam beb! Two or three hairstylists kept waking me up to ask me if I'm "alright". Heheh. How could I be if I kept sleeping at 2-3am to finish up daddy's remaining cards? Anyhoo, makcik Rosilot very excited abt perming coz she also wanna do it for raya(which is a long mile away...haha). So I MMSed her.
Now it looks something like this(taken like 10 minutes ago..heheh).
Those specs are fresh from the oven too - bought when I was buying Wal new speckies. He reli needed a new one....but aku pulak yg tersangkut. So we ended up purchasing both Levis. Well, at least I'm assured the boy will look awesome when he has to salam my daddy and (gulp!) take over the duty to take care of me as a husband.
Wawal & Gumby. He is soooo smiley nowadays. Plus he has a new hobby called "asar kepala". Dun get it? Nvm will upload a video once I figure out why my SD is not readable(grrrrrrrrr).

I made myself clear, I'm the type who will not strike a conversation (read: make friends). Its usually people who talk to me first, and only then I will talk to them. May be weird but that's just me. Even Sonia said that before we initially became partners-in-crime for Bully KJ Day Everyday. So whatever the hoo-ha is in the office, just let it be lah okay?
Deli Auntie asked me semalam "Wah...You getin married...who's the lucky guy?"
I answered it was somebody I knew and close with 11 years ago, then we parted, but we reunited after 6 years - now walking down the aisle. She replied "Ya there are people who last time close, then they break, then they meet after long time they get married." I replied "Ya lah auntie, like me lor.." She smiled.
It got me thinking. The journey so far til where it got standing here, right now. It had been a long journey, ups and downs, tears of joy and pain.. And just now, taking the bus to work, I had an image of myself. An image telling my cousins to be on my left and right as I slowly make my way down our stairs, going toward the dais, in my cream lace nikah outfit, ready to be given away. (Am holding back tears as I'm typing). I seriously duno why I wana cry. But there I was, in the bus, image in mind, and fresh tears appeared. I have no idea why I'm this emotional..... but I do hope for one thing - that our wedding is blessed by all parties & may we have a blissful marriage. Aminnn...

In 2006 - "Baru je tunang, blom stable lagi. Tunggulah sampai I get a real job"
In 2007 - "Baru je dapat keje..relak lah kena kumpul dulu.."
In January 2008 - "Alah lagi satu tahun...kena beli itu beli ini...relak lah"
On Hari Raya 2008 - "Four months more..in no rush lah"
Last week - "We have another 3 weeks..still have time.."
Today - "Freak lah its bloody next week!! Muka belom settle macam jembatan tak siap!! mak andam blom call buat final fitting, siap mintak deposit lagi! Padahal contract cakap after majlis baru kena bayar!! Kad masih blom cukup!! bla..bla blaa.."
Welcome to my life. I was asked umpteen times if I'm "excited". I reacted normal. Well, I have my reasons. First, i CANNOT freak out (and have that adrenaline surge in your heart) coz I have been having that for the past one year and BOOM! Pimples galore. So I'm trying my best NOT to freak out. Can't wait to fit on my wedding costumes tho. Hehee.
Our photoshoot photos are ready. One mini album, some 4R and 5R prints and a huge 20" by 12" portrait for our room. Woohoohoo. Personally, I have never seen a photo of me SO huge, LOL.
We had so much fun doing this photoshoot - as fun as how we look in this photo. It was shot totally candid coz he said a joke and there i went, laughing my big gob off hahaha. For those interested in viewing the full album, I will be putting up AFTER my wedding(tunggulah korang dua minggu hokkay!) on FB and Multiply. Pantang lah weiii.

Major Overhaul at Jln Eunos.
Moving works - the switching of rooms + new paint job = very dusty sneezes. Yucky indeed. Heck, I think for a moment I was high on Berger paint. No kidding!

Jitters at exactly 3 weeks before the day.
1) Katil masih blom beli - gulp!
2) Last minute changes to the plans (its not much...but still!)
3) We still have yet to change our maskawin details in the application form - must change at least 7 days before the day. Aaaarrrgh!!
4) Muka blom baik lagi BUT its improving. Went to my company clinic yest to get a second opinion - he said antibiotics is not needed, he gave me contraceptives (different brand from the ones SGH prescribed me). Woohoo, can kill two birds with one stone! Also, I bought Birds Nest with Collagen. Its promo pack has 2 bottles free, so its 8 bottles at $46.
5) Have collected my brown contacts - and a pair of gray ones for sis Naynay. Can't wait!
I must thank sweet wonderful Noyee for helping me buy ribbons at JB. At a freakin cheap price too!! I bought a roll at Spotlight for $2.49 at 8 metres (which sold out the second time I went there so I was at my wits end) ; Noy bought the ones in JB, not organza but that's perfectly fine with me - coz those are sold at a price of 45 sen for 13 metres!! Altogether, all the 5 rolls don't even exceed SGD1!!! So I must say again...Noy I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coz after I got home, I did 30pcs of cards for Daddy to distribute..slept at 2.40am yest..

Nobody knows the truth except both of us. And money is the issue that I really really loathe. I have been burnt and betrayed just because of money. So forget it, don't talk to me about money. I must thank sweet wonderful Noyee for helping me buy ribbons at JB. At a freakin cheap price too!! I bought a roll at Spotlight for $2.49 at 8 metres (which sold out the second time I went there so I was at my wits end) ; Noy bought the ones in JB, not organza but that's perfectly fine with me - coz those are sold at a price of 45 sen for 13 metres!! Altogether, all the 5 rolls don't even exceed SGD1!!! So I must say again...Noy I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coz after I got home, I did 30pcs of cards for Daddy to distribute..slept at 2.40am yest..

A Chindianyu Christmas

Nobody knows the truth except both of us. And money is the issue that I really really loathe. I have been burnt and betrayed just because of money. So forget it, don't talk to me about money. One thing's for sure, it came from the effort I get working my ass off at SSC. So it's me who deserve the shopping; I deserve my break. So there.

Many things to think as the date draws near....(23 days more...arrrghhh!!)
Yesterday's NYE party party @ work was unexpected. I didn't know a star who was making a comeback was actually really misbehaving and thus, needed security officers to escort him out. What a shame. I was thankful I had guy colleagues who acted as 'protectors' at any moment this 'predator' was around. Come on, you can even drink before you start work? Getin high and getin lecherous any moment a female walks by? I dunno what else to say but I'm glad it was settled before 2009 came - and our replacement, our own Josh, was a breeze at emceeing. Like duh, he was a DJ for two years afterall. Hah!
Things to get out of my head (ie. to settle ASAP sebelom kepala meletop)
1) CHOOSE a bed. Then buy ASAP with B. (All this will proceed as soon as my Auntie Jarjar calls that company I deposited money to)
2) Think if I should add one more small item for the groom's tray. Coz it seems the items for me are alot(11 items - tat being I was the one shopping for my items :P) whereas he has only 9 so far. The 10th is one pasang of baju melayu, but we have yet to go to JB and buy coz we were all too busy!
