Sekelip mata, bulan Ramadhan telah pun tiba. Cepat betul! Tahun ni, puasa & raya berdua buat kali pertama. Anxious? Excited? Let's just say I love doing the cooking (sahur for B, memandangkan my family have supper after terawih, skipping sahur) and also experimenting with many kuih raya recipes. I will upload them and call it my Hall of Fame "Air Tangan Mia" once I have pics (my camera will be here end of the month..yippeee...!!!)
So in the meantime, rutin seharian adalah bangun kul 4+ pagi untuk prepare for sahur. He will wake up by 4.55 to mamam. After sahur, tido dan seterusnya bangun once he's getting ready untuk kerja. Ard 11 to noon, I can do chores like laundry(groaaannnn...), sweeping, mopping etc. Lepas tu lepak aje, surf net, baca buku, tgk tv or disturb the kiddies. By then B pon dah balik so we either take a nap or disturb each other(as you can see, my life is full of disturbing people...??) and when its time for iftar, we proceed to the kitchen, tuang air teh for everyone to drink, senduk nasi and such. Cuma niari lain siket coz tadi at 1, B needed to go JB. Bucuk EG was parked behind Papa's red car tapi when dia nak alihkan kreta, enjin takleh start daa.. Rupanya bateri flat! So I followed B to help Papa buy a new battery at one of the workshops in front. Lepas tukar, barulah boleh start kreta. B estimated his arrival home by 6 but with the jam dekat-dekat peak hour ni, ntah-ntah buka tengah jalan sbelom sampai umah. Apa pon, I hope he reaches home safe...Don't worry, we sure will chope for you a plate of Mama's cooking hokay! Hehehe :)

PS : Ada sesiapa yg sudi ke sesi fotografi bersama kita? I'm planning a Geylang trip next week..wheee~

So what's new? The kiddies are sick again. Hopefully they recover soon, insyallah. I may not be a mum yet but me & hubby just enjoy being "surrogate parents" aka favourite auntie & uncle of Ayi and Atin. Heheh! One of the reasons why I cant wait til 5th Sept..Ayi & Uncle Wawal bday bash! (versi Ramadhan..heheh) :)

Auntie Hyum wif Ayi in my room. Look at that, only 11 months but face full of attitude! *heheh*
Its Ayi's passport-making day! Here he is chilling in my room, while waiting for his mama to siap. He's wearing the cute "Everywhere a Baa-Baa" tshirt-pants set that I bought him wen he was a newborn. He looked so sendat wearing this, seeing that this boy has grown so fast! His bro Atin saw him wearing this and actually laughed at him - maybe its coz of the cutesy Baa-Baa tail?

The queue for photo taking wasn't long and we filled the forms using the DIY system (payment is by Nets) so that we won't be waiting so long in the queue. Who'd want to pay $10 more AND wait superlong in the queue with Ayi Ulat, rite! After everything's set, our Papa fetched us. Waited nearly an hour for him! Sempat Ayi main dengan pokok, minom susu, tido and whereas Auntie dia sempat gi Mr Bean, makan and minum, gi beli ice cream kat nyonya and abiskan ice cream.. Well, that's my Papa for you..takes his own sweet time *sigh*

Atin looked like a pro, wearing a hairclip...actually he kinda looks like his Mama here - that mischievous look!

Last fri, I accompanied Naynay to one of her followups at NUH. After her blood test, we had more than two hours to kill. She wanted to eat at Delifrance and errr....let's just say imanku tergoda... Dari puasa, terus Naynay volunteered untuk azankan my buka puasa, HOHOHO... Dan seperti typical puasa-ing person, I became gelojoh-mojo.. :P
She ordered(and paid) for me..sungguh sweet kakak saya, ye :P
I had the chicken ham with Brie cheese meal..and two fruit tarts(shared with Atin) at home later that day. Oh yes, supergelojoh if you ask me..
Saturday was THE day that I finally get to do something with my overdue perm! I made an appointment at JYJY(subsidary of Jean Yip Hair) with Rosilah coz we wanna do our hair for raya. Yes, raya. Its more than a month away but like she said(si pemalas ni), "Lemau ah kalau gi time puasa." I couldn't agree more :P
Taken at NTUC checkout line masa makcik tu nak beli pampers for Mika. Naynay said my hair looks like her present curls. Hubby says they look "ok". Rosilah says it looks more natural. Me? I'd say they look BETTER than the ones I did at Reds. Plus, the stylist waivered my $21.90 haircut fee!
She spent a bomb at the salon - super silk rebonding and scalp treatment. The salon did hard-selling on both of us. I couldn't afford at all - I had enough for perm aje, sey! After excruciating hours there(and better hairdos, thank God), we left for "slow food" at Food Culture. I had chicken chop while the makcik had chicken noodle. Its nice to catch up on good times once a while. We all were a tight-knit group yang kental tapi very much enjoyed our time together. We'll be planning another outing together soon, insyallah! Such a spoiler Sabariah who wanted to meet up was actually at the gym. Chehhh!!!
Ayi sick..he had a nosebleed after his Thomas the Train toy fell on his face. His Papa brought him to the hospital clinic just now for his nosebleed and his never-ending fever. Get well soon, my pet..
Late nite supper at MacD ECP yesterday....

Its been what, a month since my absence..?? Hahaa!! I'm finally FREE and its time I update much much regularly, teeheehee. It feels good to finally have freedom coz now I can freely use the net, update my dusty Facebook, Multiply and blog. Not only that, I have also turned to accompanying Hubby for delivery. So far it has only been two days - coz I had fever on the second day! Even Didi asked Hubby how I'm coping with the delivery time with him - sad to say I'm not so heavy duty as your son lah Di.. I ni dahlah lembik, tak kuat angkat barang lak tu..Tu yang buat demam! Hehehehe...

Our nasi lemak - sarapan di Istanbul. The ayam was soooo good - dahlah baru goreng, tepung dia lak rasa mcm ayam kat kantin Eunos Primary.. Brings back sweet innocent memories sey :)

Other than that, I have also been gymming every morning. Have to burn those 5 kilos I gained ever since marriage. I checked my weight this morning and *horror* I have lost 500grams! Hubby says he'll push me to lose more! Like duh..memang aku nak lose tu 4.5 kilos more apa..LOL
On the 19th last month, I went for my second(and maybe last) Shape Run! Was supposed to go with KJ and Sonia but that Cow had a fever and was quarantined for 6 days, so its me & Sonia then. Its the last run for Sonia too as she'll be moving to Melbourne once she gets hitched in Jan 2010 - tats like, 5 mths away. I miss her already.... Boohooo!!

I find myself so dependent on the internet for my shopping now. Imagine having purchased two Agnes B pouch(for Eve's birthday - but 1 pouch got lost in the mail), clothes, Burberry Nova Check bag, Nike SB P Rod shoes and latest, a Finepix camera - all online via my trusted Nokia E63! Hubby was over the moon about P Rod shoes, which he got for only 60 bucks!
I finally got the matching Pink Nova Check (even though second hand) to match with my watch. Turns out (after checking with their boutique), this model was a collection from two years back, making it harder to find unless I browse secondhand shops. I juz saw its matching wallet on sale too but I think I'll reserve my cash for the new camera first...and my new hair next week...hehee :)
See? Even Ayi's attracted to my pinky bag :)
I also went to town coz Hubby wants new P Rod shoes. But when we went there aku pon tersangkut skali and bought DC pinky flats for $89.

Carried my shopping for me - cho chweeet! :P Funny thing is, we were at Far East to buy these shoes rite - and on my last day, GM asked me if I had been to Far East coz he saw me. We didn't even see him, which is weird since he's tall and huge. Ahahaaa!

My last day as an employee was in one word - shitty. He as a boss don't even keep track of his staff's welfare. I was so frustrated that I asked him straight if its 31 or 1st aug? Muka mcm siak, pastu suruh orang panggilkan staff HR. Bila dah panggilkan, dia suruh aku pegi dulu untuk discuss. I'm like, ???? Apa ni, dah lepas lunch baru nak decide? What the hell kau buat dalam office huh?? Kul 3 petang barulah nak bilang aku nye hari last is that very day(Friday). Tak ke merepek?? Apa2lah. The nice thing is, I got to eat lunch at Pastamania with Eve, KJ and Nisa. Makcik SN was busy preparing for her 'majlis tunang' (called 'shaguun') so she was on leave.
Pastamania's Creamy Chicken Pasta - nice gravy but I guess everyone's tastebuds are the same. No matter how sedappp the food is, after 10-20 minutes the tastiness will just go off. Then you start to get muak. Hahaa! The Choc mousse - niceee! The Passionfruit Soda - the nicest! But the chix wings not reli nice lah...I think I buat lagi sedap. Heh.

On Friday 30th July, we went to celebrate Evil Mummy Evey's 27th bday at Marche, Vivo. The ambience is so cool and cosy, perfect for our dinner-chillin-bday party. We returned to work the next day with people telling us that we "painted the town red" yesterday. Hmmmmm.

2 days back, we went to send Farid to ECP Sk8park coz he asked for Wal's help for a ride. It gave us the op to view the whole park. According to the boys, there's just about evrything in that park. Skateboardng heaven!

It says "ECP Skate Park" I think. The good thing about this place is, you can sk8 til morning AND there's ample space if you need to sit or sleep!
Hubby finally get to watch his GI Joe movie. Rekindling his childhood lah ni.
Bacin face at GV Ehub. He said the movie banyak dongeng. Hmmmm. Semua katun memang dongeng pe... For me, I enjoyed watching coz it has a star-studded cast! Sienna's gorgeous, working the "nerdy" look perfectly. And Scarlett - it hit me (after an hour or so) that she's the gal from Dumb & Dumberer, one of my often-watched movies. A shame my brother's not here to enjoy with us :(
Abang & adik. So cute but Atin will just rampas anything in his brother's hands. And his brother will start to scream. Weird huh? Seems like what Dils had mentioned, her niece also reacting the same way. Berbuih gak mulut suruh Atin share dgn adik dia. He can't seem to understand!

Later might be going to Hubby's frens chalet at PRP again, tagging along Hubby. (Apparently he seems to enjoy this 'tagging-along' thingy ever since we got married. I think its more of the accompaintment that's making him enjoy this. Hmmmm.....*ponders*) We dropped by yest and returned at 1. Later going again since the chalet's gonabe til sunday. I'm sooo lacking of sleep....
