Finally, gift shopping & tshirt collection for Boobie's Hen Party is complete!! I just returned frm a mini-outing with KJ and EV. The tshirt I designed looked wonderful once its printed. Gawsshh if onli mine looked that good!! (not that I'm complaining coz I undstand my Hen Party tshirt was a last minute decision due to Sali Dhokebaaz!) Well anyway, after collection, we went for dinner at Pastamania. Its been 2 mths since I ate there! Lotsa things to gossip of course. Me as a hsewifey now am still glad this was the path I chose. In one word, contented! Opis tu masih nak porak peranda dgn politik kotor, who are we to say no, kan??!!
After the dinner, we wondered around to shop for stuff. I went to buy 4 pairs of socks from Citrus. 3 for B and one pair for me. The boy was naggy tis morn abt socks. He wanted me to wash his old ones but 1) I duno where they are coz all shoes & socks bersepah kat luar 2) the ones tat I suspected were his were, really, beyonddd repair.. Lagi mulia beli baru.
Hence, I bought 3 pairs for him. 2 whites and 1 gray. Hope he likes it!
We left TM at about 9. I went home wif KJ on the train. I reli h8 the goddamn new cards. The remaining value was $2.89 and mati2 aku kena top up. FARK! Cekik duit rakyat, siak!!!

I'm shacked after returning from Shahidot's Mini Hen Party semalam. Really!! Padahal 4 jam je kluar but after all the food, laughter and jumping around, manalah tak penat!! The day started with her supposed mneeting me ard 6.30pm, but biasa makcik ni...last2 dia datang kul 7! And off we go, all 6 of us in her car, to ECP! Luckily it wasn't jammed like most sat & sun..

Ayam Drumlet-Wing Ayamas
Sotong Goreng Tepung. I got the recipe from Resipi.net. Now I know the secret to making the sotong "stick" to the tepung..its the egg! I managed to share the recipe with Shahidah yesterday, our bride-to-be. Selamat mencuba! :)

I was layan-ing si Ayi. He was cranky.
Look! Sampai my Tiffany box pon I kasi - it shows how buntu I was on what I should entertain him!. Then, I played with him on my lap...and...
he peed on me. Dah kena tukar cadar - chore yg palingggg aku benci!!!
Betapa sadinnya dia. Aku nak tukar cadar tapi dia sebok bawak susu & bantal dia. Dah aku kena stop kejap & tunggu dia abis. Grrrrrr.
Late nite @ ECP
I bought KOKO Krunch McFlurry. Lebih kurang sedap laa rasanya...uwekk..
Wal talking to Syed, who happened to sk8 on that day with the KL sk8ers.
Before going home...sempat kat carpark :)
On Sat, we had to fetch/welcome home Paom who flew to Shanghai on a school trip. So we, the two families, set off to T3.
In the car...3 sisters :)

She quickly volunteered to carry his luggage sebab nak feeling-feeling travel..hahaha!!

As time stood still....
We were supposed to go for dinner but the line at Swensens was sooooo long!!!!! Terus patah smangat nak makan...dan terus balik... In the end, Papa went to Hawa and tapau for us all these for dinner(actually, dah supper pon..hahaa)

I had this - Honeydew Sago from Sweetalk. I hated the santan taste in this...
Hyum had this milk tea from Each-A-Cup yg mahal tu...
This is what made me sleep late(and wake up late) nowadays ..zaman nganggur ni...
Back to catching up with my sleep now, zzzzzzz.....

Tadi, I was watching the drama re-runs on Suria (fyi, there's even a re-run of my wedding in Budaya 360's reruns last mth..the one tat was aired last Feb!). It seems like I'm back to a 'makcik-makcik' phase like in 2003/4 where I spent my time watching reruns while babysitting Jeejia's offsprings. Anyway, about the re-runs.
I watched Jeritan Sepi, the one with J Rosmini as the nenek. Punye concentrate, sampai siap tertitis beberapa bijik(??!) air mata coz nenek ni kena baling sana sini mcm snowball. Dedua anak nenek ni problematic nye family. Kesian gak. Tapi anak daughter dia and menantu pompuan dia memang melampau lah. Apa pon, ia bagai berikanku satu renungan. Aku ni memang tak pandai bebual dgn orang. Introverted. Serious! That means termasuk warga tua & little kids kan. Tapi smenjak aku ada dua anak sedara, I see tat I can randomly layan budak2 tecits dgn bersahaja. This achievement made me proud, really! So lepas tgk drama menitis-air-mata tu, membuatkan aku sedikit rasa belas pada nenek-nenek aku. U see, I'm not close with them. Esp paternal nenek, whom we seldom visit. Dia pon I've never seen her bermesra dgn cucu. Maybe that's her nature. Maternal nenek plak, typical nenek you see..nak describe tapi nanti cerita panjang berjela. Tapi it gave me a bit of motivation to at least be nicer to her. Pelik kan? Apa pon, one thing best pasal nenek yg ni is, dia masak sedap gilerrrrr. Pandai dia amik hati cucu-cucu & cucu-cucu menantu :)

Bird-spotting!!
I love doing this nowadays..when I hear birds chirping loudly outside, I'll quickly scramble out to look where the birds are. Some look nice and rare. And mostly I'll do it with Atin in tow; he loves birds too!

He has upgraded his "boat box" - he placed his big blue pillow in it and sits in there while enjoying his milk & Handy Manny.
I got ill!
No need to ask what I had *malu* but I had a dokter lembut and I was given these medicines, all at $44. Mahal dok! I hate drinking the Citrvescent though - salty!
I did wavy hair for Hyum using straightening irons. It worked! Thanks again Miss Chie for the tutorial. The curls didnt reli last though - maybe needed hairspray. But it was nice to know it worked!

These irons did the job, baby!
Brought Atins to my inlaws' Open House last week. Hishhh malu lah si Atin ni. Especially part jatuhkan wheelchair Nenek. Chettsss!! He loved the cats and tortoises though.

Newsflash! Aunty Jah @ Jeejia(affectionately called as) has touched down from Perth! She was on course for a week to present a lecture, and upon her return, gave us some choccies from Aussie! No wonder the weight just kept piling on..LOL ;P
The Olives are my fave..semua mati-mati ingat these are REAL olives ie. buah zaiton yg masin-masin atas pizza tu. But its actually white chocolate with green colouring covering the dark chocolate with almonds. Sedap, wo! Sampai sore throat aku makan..
A day I busily snapped the kiddos. Ayi has learnt to WALK. I read my FB, well well..so did Humairah - Sab's gumbi-gumbi! We definitely MUST pat both these little kiddos' backs and congratulate them on their first step to maturity. Cheh! Anyway, this was a day I busily snapped both Atin and Ayi. Lazing around in Nay's room defintely made photographing them much easier.

Last week, we went to Joo Chiat Complex. Yes, Geylang. Funny kan, apa ke hal gi Geylang raya-raya ni? Well, Wally dear had to collect headlights from a fren who happens to own a shop there. So dah sambil-sambil di sana, singgah skali di KFC(purely coz mengidam KFC + lapar GILERRR)

Like I said in FB, menyesal tak sudah lepas makan ni HotBox. Now I know they have a reason why they called it as such! The fish fingers punyelah PEDAS GILERRR, tambah plak dengan Zinger yg bley tahan pedasnya. The Nescafe frappe tat came with the HotBox was nice too, but it just doesn't "go"! Terus tobat takmo makan ni lagik. Melecur perut. Scalded!

Ni lepas gi Joo Chiat, gi Pasir Ris plak. B was gonna meet frens there. And since I dowana get bored so fast, he suggested I spend time (and his $$$) at White Sands.
Passed by the Pasir Ris pond at night. Was too full for Arnolds' Chicken as much as I want to go there. Boo hoo! Captured the lights & reflections instead. Nice :)
Went to Spg. Bdk to get supper the next nite, then off to Chai's plc. Well, carpk actually. Needed to help Uncle D fix the car.

Raya ni pasal kemenangan sebagai umat Islam selepas berjaya berpuasa sebulan. Bukan pasal nak act je depan tetamu betapa kayanya korang. Ada kita heran tak? Ada?? Ish ish... Kalau nak cakap pasal benda berfaedah, takpe gak. Ini tidak, asik nak 'menang' je. Paling teruk, I came across satu hamba Allah ni, wah bukan main. Tiap tahun same scenario. Bukan main bangga! Always damn proud of her kids and what they do(padahal semua poyo), proud of her husband who had a huge paycheck, proud of all the stuff the husband spent on her like deco rumah beribu-ribu, gelang emas bertingkat-tingkat, proud of herself for controlling her husband's money(itu pon jadi bahan kebanggaan? You're crazy!), proud of segalanyalah! At last apa jadi? Husband poyo play wood three, anak poyo ada kes etc etc. Last-last sape malu? Makcik tu jugak. I tulis ni bukan apa, cuma mau saling menasihati, jgn bangga, riak dan takabur...semua ni kan pinjaman tuhan...bila-bila je Dia boleh tarik balik!
Last sat, Papa had agreed to visit his sister's family for raya. Us the whole family followed suit. Wally tgh dok bikin pojek, tak nak ikot. Bumbug joined us later after he finished his shift at 10.
Sedang bersiap dlm bilik my mum. Pardon the cermin berlapok. Dah makan 20 tahun, dah takleh buat apa dah.

Ini muka mekap bertepek. You see, I bought this mth's Glamour US edition which contained "make up steps you'll ever need". With that and Mis Chie's makeup tutorial on Utiup, I began to get smarter and smarter and soon, layering more & more eyeshadows colors (Raya has never come at a better time. HEEEEE). As a result, my eye colous blended beautifully - credits to Mis Chie! To those you really would like to learn abt the art of "painting you face", try searching for her di yu tiup k! Yang pasti, jgn dok layan mekap sampai muka wayang pekji k!
And ini muka togel + a layer of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. They call it "anti-aging in a bottle" or something like that. Mine's the 7ml, ikhsan dari Aunt Jeejia. Dah berbulan and the bottle stil have half left. THAT'S the genius :)
Operation Cabut Pokok Beringin Part II
Knape part 2? Coz the pokok was already pulled out the day before. The pics here are captured on the second day, where Maemae asked for B's help to uproot and clear the remains. Why uproot? Just ask anyone about "keistimewaan" pokok beringin; the answer's right there. If I elaborate panjang, kang meremang bulu roma.
What Maemae cooked on Sunday. A reason to be totally DE-LI-Ri-OUSSS!!
Nasi Goreng Ikan Bilis. Originally cooked for my sis' frens who came for raya. Mum cooked extras, so we ate after they left. Why after they left? Kerana aku masih berbaju tido dan blom mandi *wide grin*.
Mae also cooked this!!! Ketam Lemak Cili Padi. Best, wo. Walaupon for this one, Mae kurangkan the usage of lada merah dgn alasan 'tak cukup lada'. No wonder the colour pucat semacam, kan?
Ketam ada telor, wokay! I ate one and a half. Bedal je walaupon my allergy caused me to swell. Sib baik tak pitam! :P

We went to watch 'The Ugly Truth' at Lido. Wal? Rom-com? Weird, kan? Oh well. Anyway, I'd give the movie a 3.5/5. I don't really like how their love story works (mcm tak real, gini nye industry mana ada time main love itu semua) but I love the funny scenes. And her hot neighbour is perrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh...really hot! Kalah itu HotBox, ye' know! :P

Something sad happened before we left home. Before starting bucuk EG's engine, B was busy emptying the front seat(ie. MY seat) coz alot of his junk was covering my space. Then we kept opening & slamming the car door, maklomlah kan, emptying the space, punggah barang-barang to and fro. When he finally drove out, we heard a loud 'meow!'. I got scared..Wal asked to check. I did, thinking the cat must've ran away. So I told him to drive out anyway. What I saw was a shock afterwards. A little kitten, in black fur, wriggled its way to the side. Me & B were shocked, couldn't believe what just happened. It took a long while to digest. Everything happened so fast. B stroked it til its last breath. We gave the kitten a proper burial under the tanjong tree. Rest in peace, Kitty.

The Olives are my fave..semua mati-mati ingat these are REAL olives ie. buah zaiton yg masin-masin atas pizza tu. But its actually white chocolate with green colouring covering the dark chocolate with almonds. Sedap, wo! Sampai sore throat aku makan..
A day I busily snapped the kiddos. Ayi has learnt to WALK. I read my FB, well well..so did Humairah - Sab's gumbi-gumbi! We definitely MUST pat both these little kiddos' backs and congratulate them on their first step to maturity. Cheh! Anyway, this was a day I busily snapped both Atin and Ayi. Lazing around in Nay's room defintely made photographing them much easier.

Last week, we went to Joo Chiat Complex. Yes, Geylang. Funny kan, apa ke hal gi Geylang raya-raya ni? Well, Wally dear had to collect headlights from a fren who happens to own a shop there. So dah sambil-sambil di sana, singgah skali di KFC(purely coz mengidam KFC + lapar GILERRR)

Like I said in FB, menyesal tak sudah lepas makan ni HotBox. Now I know they have a reason why they called it as such! The fish fingers punyelah PEDAS GILERRR, tambah plak dengan Zinger yg bley tahan pedasnya. The Nescafe frappe tat came with the HotBox was nice too, but it just doesn't "go"! Terus tobat takmo makan ni lagik. Melecur perut. Scalded!

Ni lepas gi Joo Chiat, gi Pasir Ris plak. B was gonna meet frens there. And since I dowana get bored so fast, he suggested I spend time (and his $$$) at White Sands.
Passed by the Pasir Ris pond at night. Was too full for Arnolds' Chicken as much as I want to go there. Boo hoo! Captured the lights & reflections instead. Nice :)
Went to Spg. Bdk to get supper the next nite, then off to Chai's plc. Well, carpk actually. Needed to help Uncle D fix the car.

Raya ni pasal kemenangan sebagai umat Islam selepas berjaya berpuasa sebulan. Bukan pasal nak act je depan tetamu betapa kayanya korang. Ada kita heran tak? Ada?? Ish ish... Kalau nak cakap pasal benda berfaedah, takpe gak. Ini tidak, asik nak 'menang' je. Paling teruk, I came across satu hamba Allah ni, wah bukan main. Tiap tahun same scenario. Bukan main bangga! Always damn proud of her kids and what they do(padahal semua poyo), proud of her husband who had a huge paycheck, proud of all the stuff the husband spent on her like deco rumah beribu-ribu, gelang emas bertingkat-tingkat, proud of herself for controlling her husband's money(itu pon jadi bahan kebanggaan? You're crazy!), proud of segalanyalah! At last apa jadi? Husband poyo play wood three, anak poyo ada kes etc etc. Last-last sape malu? Makcik tu jugak. I tulis ni bukan apa, cuma mau saling menasihati, jgn bangga, riak dan takabur...semua ni kan pinjaman tuhan...bila-bila je Dia boleh tarik balik!
Last sat, Papa had agreed to visit his sister's family for raya. Us the whole family followed suit. Wally tgh dok bikin pojek, tak nak ikot. Bumbug joined us later after he finished his shift at 10.

Am I weird? Dalam sejarah sepuluh bulan tido atas katil queen ni, tak penah-penah aku gunakan semua (semua means lima bijik bantal) sekaligus untuk tido. I ni jenis satu bantal or tak guna langsung(tis fact surprises Hubby - a part of observing my sleeping habits). So sekarang, apa yg buat aku pelik sungguh tido dengan bantal-bantal ni tersusun indah sekelilingku, mcm Princess & The Pea? (Mcm battlefield pon ok gak....Banzai!!)
Senang je. Aku takot lah, dok! Hb still outz, fixing back bucuk EG @ Punggol. Cepat ler bang oiiiii....
~ Kepada sesiapa yg blur baca cite ni, memang ada kesah disebaliknya pon(was typed bertungkus-lumus di status Ianz, gara-gara makcik tu nak dengar sangat. Tapi pada sesapa yg blur, lenkali ah aku citer..

It's 1pm and I'm still soooo sleepy (masuk suara-suara sumbang mengata, 'Apa jenis binik laa dia ni??'). Sleepy ada makna hokey. Salahkan si laki lah. Nyeh nyeh nyeh.
Actually it's not what you think. Smenjak carefree period ni, kluar dgn B sure balik malam. Or in most cases, pagi. Semalam balik je dah nak kul 4. So dengan tidurnya gitu lewat, mustahil bley bangun pagi..... Betul tak? Hehehe. But utknya yg tetap cari nafkah utk kluarga(alalalaaa cayang), tetap kena bagun siang kan. Kita yg disini hanya doa' kesejahteraan, keberkatan & keselamatan semasa dia kerja :)
Ada any more saudara-saudara di sana yg masih berjalan raya? Mustahil tidak kan? Aku pon sekaki gak..tu pon kerana my Papa dah janji kakaknya di Bdk utk kunjung umahnya hari ni. Tapi blom sure bila exactly nak kunjung ke umah in-laws...I wanna meet Fifi!!! Rindu si kucing mentel tu, and I ada gak nak amik her pic with my *new* camera. Tis week waktu kluar wif B tu, ada gak random photos taken. Blom load lagi, maklomlah siapalah kita yg tak berlaptop ni kan. Insyallah Monday....
